Orugas (Caterpillars)

Provides a nurturing environment to care for your baby. Our teachers listen and communicate with parents to ensure both the child’s and parent’s needs are met. We are attentive to your baby as important milestones are reached, such as learning to roll over, crawl, walk, smile, babble. Teachers use the Teaching Strategies and the curriculum to ensure your child is learning through educational concepts, social interactions, play, and new experiences. Children are introduced to 100% Spanish immersion during this stage.

Libelulas (Dragonfly)

Our Libelula (Dragonfly) class focuses on appropriate social interaction, fine motor skills, classroom routines, and an introduction to the skills necessary for future academic success. We continue to provide 100 % Spanish Immersion and their acquisition of the language increases.

mariposa

Mariposa (Butterfly)

Our Mariposa (Butterfly) classes enjoy socialization through small and large group play and instruction. Our children will develop fine and gross motor skills and academic readiness through a variety of structured and unstructured activities. As children in this classroom grow we will be providing students with the skills they will need to succeed the following year as they enter kindergarten. In addition to kindergarten readiness skills, we will offer, STEM, Music , Cultures around the world and gym experiences. Children who have completed our program since they were infants should be 100% fluent in Spanish by this stage.

CLASSROOM SCHEDULE

Our program’s daily format is flexible and remains responsive to the children’s interests and ongoing project work. However, a “typical” day might look something like this:

9:00 - 9:30 am Circle Time / Welcome / Sharing and singing
9:30 - 10:00 am Group Activity / Clean up time
10:00 - 10:15 am Wash hands / Change Diapers
10:15 - 10:45 am Snack Time AM
10:45 - 11:00 am Change Diapers / Apply Sun Protection
11:00 - 11:45 am Outside Play
11:45 - 12:00 am Clean up time / Wash hands
12:00 - 12:30 pm Lunch
12:30 - 2:30 pm Naptime / Quiet Time
2:30 - 2:45 pm Relaxation time (continued until all children are awake from their naps)
2:45 - 3:00 pm Clean up time / Wash hands / bed organization / set up snack
3:00 - 3:30 pm Snack time PM / Cozy corner/story time while children are waking up
3:30 - 4:15 pm Small group activities or continued project work
4:15 - 4:45 pm Dinner
4:45 - 5:15 pm< Clean up time
5:15 - 5:30 pm Free play while children are picked up
