BECKY SOSA | COORDINATOR
Becky Sosa has a degree in Comprehensive Basic Education from the University of Los Andes, Mérida-Venezuela, a degree in Special Education from the Bolivarian University of Venezuela, and a Venezuelan Sign Language Interpreter degree. She has been working in the area of education for 11 years. Throughout that time she has worked with different levels of education from primary to university, especially with the Deaf population. In Becky's words "My love for education comes from my mother who is currently a teacher in Venezuela.
I am the older sister of 4 brothers and a mother of two children, they have been my students and my teachers at the same time, working at Casita Azul has been my first experience in early childhood education and it has been a wonderful experience. Seeing how children evolve rapidly is something incredible, from infants to toddlers, when the changes in their development begin. I see them crawl, take their first steps, then see them become independent, learn and repeat new words in Spanish until hearing them say complete sentences even and conversations on different topics during the day. The care and love that we provide where all the children feel safe and happy to come to their school is something that motivates every educator, especially me."
