What Makes Camp Alegría Special?
Camp Alegría is a one-of-a-kind immersive summer camp that brings Latin American culture to life through storytelling, hands-on activities, and unforgettable experiences. Hosted by Casita Azul and Amanecer Academy, two well-established culturally immersive Spanish-language programs, Camp Alegría blends fun, learning, and community connection for a unique summer adventure.

Full Spanish Immersion – For children ready to dive into a fully Spanish-speaking environment.
Bilingual Experience – A mix of Spanish and English to support language learners at different levels.
Daily Schedule Highlights
Morning Gathering – Community welcome & cultural storytelling

Community Wrap-Up – Daily reflections, performances, or mini celebrations
Each session will conclude with a special community event, such as a World Cup match, Carnaval parade, or group feast!

Adventure across America
Your child will embark on a journey through Latin America, exploring its rich cultures through art, storytelling, and hands-on activities. From vibrant crafts to traditional tales and immersive experiences, each session brings a new adventure, fostering creativity, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for Latin American heritage.
Session 2:
July 7th - July 25th
Carnaval Celebration
Experience the vibrant energy of Latin America’s most joyful festival with a lively fusion of dance, music, and crafts! Immerse yourself in the rhythms of traditional beats, move to the sounds of salsa and cumbia, and explore hands-on craft stations that celebrate rich cultural traditions. A colorful, dynamic celebration for all to enjoy!
Session 3:
July 28th - August 15th
World Cup Extravaganza
A dynamic and fun-filled soccer camp where kids develop skills, build teamwork, and experience the excitement of the game! With engaging drills, friendly matches, and a supportive environment, young players will boost their confidence, make new friends, and embrace the spirit of the sport.
Session 4:
August 18th - August 29th
World Cup Extravaganza
Kids get hands-on in the kitchen as they learn to make delicious traditional Latin dishes! From homemade tortillas to savory empanadas and sweet treats like alfajores, these fun and interactive cooking classes introduce children to the rich flavors and culinary traditions of Latin America. A perfect blend of culture, creativity, and tasty fun!
